Today, Tessy’s Brunches is officially three years old as an organisation. We are filled with gratitude and joy as we look back on the journey so far and look ahead to all that is still to come.
When we started Tessy’s Brunches, it was born from a simple but powerful belief that women deserve spaces to connect, heal, grow, and be inspired. What began as intimate gatherings has blossomed into a thriving community that now reaches across cities and even countries.
Over the past three years, we have learned so much. Here are just a few reflections we wanted to share:
- Community is our superpower. We have seen time and again that when women come together, magic happens. Stories are shared, courage is built, and friendships form that last far beyond any event.
- Every woman’s story matters. Whether spoken quietly over coffee or shared from a stage, each woman’s journey holds wisdom, strength, and hope. Our spaces exist to honour those stories and remind women that they are never alone.
- It is safe to start over. Many of our brunches have taught us that it is never too late to rewrite your story, chase a new dream, or step into a new chapter. Reinvention is not only possible but powerful.
- Vision keeps us moving. The path has not always been smooth. There have been moments of uncertainty, especially in a world that continues to shift. But holding on to the vision of women supporting women has carried us through.
- Celebration matters. We believe in pausing to celebrate the wins, big and small. This birthday is one of those moments.
To our community, thank you. Your presence, your stories, and your trust have shaped Tessy’s Brunches into what it is today. You have shared your laughter, your tears, and your wisdom, and you have made this space a home for so many women.
As we enter our fourth year, our vision only grows stronger. We are dreaming of new cities, new retreats, new conversations, and even more ways to support women everywhere.
